MAG receivers are set-top boxes built specifically for internet television, sold with a remote and a menu that feels much like a cable receiver. They don’t use usernames or passwords. We register the unit’s MAC address against your Moa Tv line, and the receiver signs in through a portal address.
Step one: find the MAC address
Turn the box over: the MAC address is printed on the label underneath. The same number also appears on screen within the system settings, in a device or system information section whose name differs from model to model. MAG addresses begin with 00:1A:79, followed by three more pairs.

Step two: add the portal
- Open the settings menu; on many remotes the SETUP button goes straight there.
- Choose System settings → Servers → Portals.
- Name Portal 1 Moa Tv.
- In Portal 1 URL, type the portal address we emailed you, exactly as written.
- Save, step back out and select Restart portal.
Once the portal reloads you’ll see live TV, listings and the film and series catalogue.
Which MAG models suit Moa Tv
The MAG 322, 324, 424, 524 and 540 all cope comfortably. Earlier generations still connect, though menus can drag and some can’t decode 4K or the newer compression formats; if an old unit struggles, a current MAG or a Google TV Streamer is money well spent.
If the portal won’t load

Can I use TiviMate on a MAG box?
No. These receivers only run their built-in portal menu, while TiviMate needs Google TV, Android TV or Fire OS.
