How films are sorted
Films arrive in categories, with recent additions usually at the top. After that come the familiar genres: action and adventure, comedy, drama and romance, thrillers, horror, science fiction, family and animation, plus films in other languages. Category names and their order can look slightly different from one player to another, but every player reads the same library.
Finding something to watch in under a minute
- Search when you know the title. Typing three or four letters is usually enough.
- Browse recent additions when you don’t. It’s the quickest way to see what’s new.
- Keep a watchlist. Mark films as favourites when someone recommends them, and the list is waiting next time.
- Use continue watching. Most players keep a row of titles you’ve started, so a film abandoned on Tuesday is one click away on Wednesday.
Sound and subtitles
Many films carry more than one audio track or subtitle option. While the film is playing, open the player’s audio or subtitle menu and choose. Titles with surround sound play in 5.1 when your device and speakers support it; if you hear nothing through a soundbar, set the device’s audio output to automatic or to stereo.
Picture quality

Films in the library start when you choose and can be paused at any time. Movie channels play films on a fixed schedule, like a TV channel.
Can two people watch different films at the same time?
