For a lot of Moa Tv customers, sport is the reason they signed up. The sport group gathers national and regional sports networks from the US, the UK, Europe and other regions into one place, so the league table, the race weekend and the title fight are all a few clicks apart.
What you can follow
| Sport | Typical coverage |
|---|---|
| Football (soccer) | League and cup matches, internationals, highlights and studio analysis |
| American football, basketball, baseball, ice hockey | Regular-season games, playoffs and preview shows |
| Motorsport | Practice, qualifying and races across a weekend |
| Boxing, MMA and wrestling | Fight nights, weigh-ins and dedicated channels |
| Tennis, golf, cricket and rugby | Tournament days and series throughout the year |
| Big events | Extra channels that open for major matches and tournaments |
What is shown depends on which broadcasters carry each competition in each country, so coverage changes from one season and tournament to the next.
When games clash
- Multi-view. TiviMate Premium can split the screen between several channels. Every window is its own stream, so plan on one device per window when you order.
- Catch-up. On channels that keep an archive, scroll back in the guide and play the match you couldn’t watch live. The catch-up page explains which channels offer it.
- Recording. Premium also records a match to the device’s storage or a USB drive while you watch something else.
Getting ready for a big match
- Free up your connection. Pause big downloads and updates in the house before kick-off.
- Choose the right version of the channel. If the broadband is shared, Full HD is steadier than 4K on a busy night.
- Open the channel early. Check it a quarter of an hour before the start, not at the whistle.
- Keep a backup in favourites. Big events often run on more than one channel; save both.
Our football weekend guide covers a whole match day, and if a stream stops, the troubleshooting article lists the fixes in order. On our side, the stable streaming setup is built for the moments when everyone tunes in at once.
Sports questions
Are the sports channels part of every Moa Tv plan?
Yes. There is no sports add-on. Every plan, from 1 month upwards, carries the whole sport group.
Can I watch sport in 4K?
Selected channels and events are offered in 4K. You need a 4K TV, a device that plays 4K and a connection of about 35 Mbps or more. See the 4K page.
What should I do if a match freezes?
Restart the app and the device first, then try the channel’s Full HD version. If it keeps happening, open a ticket with the channel, the time and your device.
Can someone watch a different game on a phone while the TV is on?
Yes, if your plan has two or more devices. Each extra device adds 45% of the plan price.
