Living in one country while your family, your football club and your favourite series belong to another is common, and it is exactly what world channels are for. Moa Tv files each foreign channel under its country and language, so the familiar ones are only a few presses of the remote away.
Regions you’ll find
| Region | What it usually includes |
|---|---|
| Europe | Britain, Ireland, the big western European nations, Poland, Scandinavia and beyond |
| Middle East and North Africa | Arabic-language news, drama, sport and religious programming |
| South and Southeast Asia | Indian, Pakistani and Filipino channels among others |
| Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan and Central Asia | Entertainment, news and series in Turkish, Persian and neighbouring languages |
| Africa | News and entertainment from many African countries |
| Latin America and the Caribbean | Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking channels, telenovelas and football included |
Lineups evolve as channels come and go. Is one in particular essential? Send us its name before buying and we’ll confirm.
A guide for a home with two languages
- Give each language its own favourites list. TiviMate Premium supports several lists, so one person’s Arabic channels and another’s Spanish ones don’t get in each other’s way.
- Hide the countries nobody watches. The guide becomes far shorter and quicker to scroll.
- Check the time zone on your device. Listings are converted to the device’s time, so a wrong setting makes every programme look early or late. The TV guide page has more on this.
Sport and news from home
Many national sports networks sit in the sport group, while some appear inside their country’s world channels group. For headlines from home, the news page explains how to build a quick morning list that mixes local and international channels.
World channel questions
Do world channels cost extra?
No. They are part of every Moa Tv plan, with no country packs.
Will programmes from another country show at my local time?
Yes. Listings are shifted into whatever time zone your device uses, so a 9 pm show back home appears at the correct hour where you are.
Can children watch cartoons in our home language?
Usually, yes. Kids channels in several languages sit in their country groups and in the kids group.
