TiviMate is a player app for televisions and streamers built on Google TV, Android TV or Amazon’s Fire OS. Empty by itself, it comes alive once your Moa Tv details are added: a programme grid, tidy channel groups, favourites, catch-up and recording, much like a cable box. We recommend it for TV streamers, and each plan includes the Premium upgrade.

The sections below explain the app, what Premium changes, where it runs and how it connects to Moa Tv.

Armobsoft FZE, an independent company, develops TiviMate. The app is purely a player with nothing to watch built in, and moatv.us isn’t connected with its developers; the content you see comes from the service you add, here Moa Tv.

What TiviMate does

The centre of the app is its guide: a grid with channels down the side and the evening laid out across the screen. You can browse ahead, open a programme for its details and change channel without leaving the grid. Channels arrive in the groups Moa Tv supplies, a sport group or a country for example. Groups you never open can disappear, the remainder can be rearranged, and daily channels can live in favourites. Search looks through every channel and programme name in the guide.

Premium features, one by one

Catch-up

On channels that keep an archive, scroll left in the guide into the past and play a programme that has already aired. The catch-up page explains which channels offer it and for how long.

Recording

Capture what’s playing, book a programme ahead from the grid, or set a series to record each new episode. Files land on internal storage or a plugged-in USB drive. HD recordings run to several gigabytes an hour while sticks have little room, so regular recorders should add a USB drive. Our article on recording live TV with Moa Tv compares recording with catch-up.

Multi-view

Split the screen between channels, ideal for overlapping matches. Because every window pulls its own stream, you’ll want a powerful device, plenty of bandwidth and one Moa Tv device per window.

Reminders

Mark a programme in the guide and TiviMate tells you shortly before it starts.

Parental control

Set a code, then lock groups or hide them entirely. Step-by-step help is on the kids page and in the article on parental controls.

Auto frame rate and backup

Auto frame rate switches the TV to the frame rate of what you’re watching, which takes the judder out of camera pans in sport and films. Backup saves your playlists, favourites and settings to a file, so a new device is set up in minutes.

What Premium costs, and why you won’t pay it

If you bought it yourself, you’d pay the developer through its Companion phone app or website, choosing yearly or lifetime. As of October 2026 the prices were roughly $9.99 per year and $33.99 for a lifetime licence, varying by country and subject to change.

Moa Tv customers skip that step. Each plan comes with a TiviMate account that already has Premium, and its details reach you alongside your line. Premium lasts as long as your Moa Tv plan.

Devices that run TiviMate

Good choices:

  • Google-powered televisions, a category that covers a large share of Sony, TCL, Hisense and Philips sets;
  • streamers: Google’s own TV Streamer, the older Chromecast with Google TV, the NVIDIA Shield and certified boxes;
  • Amazon hardware still on Fire OS, the Stick 4K, Stick 4K Max and Cube among it.

No TiviMate:

  • Amazon’s Vega OS sticks, limited to apps from Amazon’s own store; the Fire TV page helps you tell them apart;
  • Samsung and LG televisions, Apple hardware and computers, where another app signs in with your Moa Tv details; the devices section has suggestions.

Installing TiviMate safely

Google-powered devices get TiviMate IPTV Player straight from Google Play, which also keeps it updated. Amazon’s store doesn’t list it, so Fire OS owners side-load it with Downloader from the developer’s site, following the Fire TV install guide.

Stick to those two sources. Altered copies that circulate online may carry malware and often break without warning.

Connecting TiviMate to Moa Tv

  1. Switch Premium on. In the app’s settings, pick Unlock Premium, choose Account and enter the TiviMate details from our email.
  2. Add Moa Tv. Use Add playlist, select the Xtream Codes type and fill in server, username and password.
  3. Wait briefly. Live TV, listings and the on-demand sections fill in shortly afterwards.

Detailed steps and fixes are in the TiviMate Premium guide, while your login details explained describes every field.

Quick fixes

  • Pausing or freezing: raise Buffer size under Settings → Playback and check the connection; the stable streaming page has a fuller list.
  • Empty guide or wrong times: refresh listings under Settings → EPG and confirm the time zone, or read about an empty Moa Tv TV guide.
  • “Device limit reached”: all five Premium slots are used. Free one from a retired device, or get in touch.

TiviMate questions

Is TiviMate free?

The basic app costs nothing and handles one playlist with a guide. The extras, from recording to PIN locks, need Premium, which Moa Tv covers on each plan.

Does TiviMate come with channels?

No. Think of it as an empty TV set: the programmes come from whichever subscription you sign in with.

On how many devices does Premium work?

Five per TiviMate account. Simultaneous Moa Tv viewing is a different limit, set by the device count on your plan.

Is there a TiviMate app for Apple or Samsung?

No version exists for them. Those owners install a different app and enter their Moa Tv details; the install guides name options.

What’s the Companion app for?

It’s the developer’s Android phone app for purchasing and managing Premium. Moa Tv customers can ignore it, since the account we provide already has Premium.

Can TiviMate record?

Premium can: the current programme, something booked from the grid or a whole series, stored internally or on USB.

Is TiviMate legal to use?

Yes. It’s an ordinary player listed on Google Play. The question that matters is whether you have the right to use the subscription you load into it.

How do I update TiviMate?

Google Play takes care of it on Google-powered devices. Fire OS owners accept the prompt inside the app, or reinstall the newest version from the official site, and their settings survive.
