The email that arrives after your payment confirms contains more than a username and a password, and most setup problems we see come from one detail ending up in the wrong box. This article goes through every line, says what it’s for and where it belongs.

Two separate sets of details

The single most common mix-up is treating the two blocks in the email as one. They aren’t:

BlockContainsUsed for
Your Moa Tv lineServer address, username, password, plus M3U and EPG linksLoading channels, the guide and the library into a player
Your TiviMate accountAn email address and a passwordUnlocking Premium inside TiviMate, nothing else

If TiviMate says Premium isn’t active, it’s usually because the Moa Tv username went into the Premium screen. If the player says your login is invalid, it’s often the reverse.

Server address

This is where your player connects. It usually looks like a web address that starts with http:// and ends with a colon and a number, such as :8080. That number is the port, and it’s part of the address: leave it off and the player can’t connect. Copy the whole thing exactly, without a space before or after it. Some players have a separate field for the port; in that case put the number there and the rest in the server field.

Username and password

These identify your line. Treat them as case-sensitive and type them exactly as written, or better, copy and paste them. They’re personal to you: our terms don’t allow sharing a login outside your household, and a shared login can end up suspended.

The M3U link is a single long address with your username and password built into it. It exists for players that can’t use an Xtream Codes login. Where a player offers both, choose Xtream Codes, because it brings in the guide and the on-demand sections more reliably. Keep the M3U link private, since anyone who has it has your login.

This is the address of the guide data. Players using the Xtream Codes login fetch the guide automatically, so most people never need it. If you’ve set a player up with the M3U link and the guide stays empty, paste the EPG link into the player’s guide or EPG settings.

TiviMate account

The email and password in the second block go into TiviMate under Settings → Unlock Premium → Account. One account unlocks Premium on up to five devices, and it stays active as long as your Moa Tv plan does. The TiviMate Premium guide shows the screens.

If you use a MAG box

MAG boxes don’t use a username at all. Instead, the email includes a portal link, and the box’s MAC address is registered to your line. The MAG page explains where the portal goes.

Finding the details again

Lost the email? Sign in and open My subscription. Everything is listed there with a copy button next to each detail, which also avoids typing mistakes. Copying from the account page on the same device you’re setting up is the quickest method of all.

Keeping them safe

Don’t post screenshots of the email in forums or group chats when asking for help; the details are enough for someone else to use your line. If you think they’ve been seen by someone who shouldn’t have them, contact us and we’ll advise you.

Questions

My player says “invalid login”. What should I check first?

The server address. A missing port number, a stray space or https instead of http are the usual culprits. Then check you haven’t swapped in the TiviMate details.

Do I need the EPG link in TiviMate?

Not when you add Moa Tv with the Xtream Codes login; the guide loads on its own.

Is the TiviMate password the same as my Moa Tv password?

No. They’re separate accounts with separate passwords.
